WHAT IS PVC FOAM BOARD?:​

PVC foam board (also known as foamed PVC, cellular PVC or expanded PVC — sold under brand names like Foamex, Sintra, Komacel and Palight) is a lightweight, rigid plastic sheet with a dense, closed-cell foam core. It's completely waterproof, resistant to rot and chemicals, easy to machine, and holds paint, print and vinyl beautifully — which is why it's become one of the most popular substrates in signage and display work.

Common thicknesses run from around 3mm up to 25mm+, in standard sheet sizes up to 1220 x 2440mm (with larger formats available on request). Most jobs use white board, though a range of colours is available depending on stock.
