Who we are
Planet Engraving is a trading name of HIE (NSW) Pty Limited (ABN 17 064 833 441), 1/22 Bradmill Ave, Rutherford NSW 2320. You can reach us on 02 4030 5878 or office@planetengraving.net.
What we collect
When you send us a quote request or message, we collect what you give us: your name, email, phone number, postcode, the details of your job and any files you upload. If you fill in a quote form inside one of our Google ads, Google passes us the same kind of details. We also keep the emails and phone messages you send us.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to you, prepare your quote, make and deliver your order, and follow up about that job. We don't sell your details, we don't add you to mailing lists, and we don't share them with anyone except the services we use to run the business (below).
Where it's kept
Our website is hosted by Netlify, which receives and stores form submissions and sends them to our Google Workspace email. These providers may store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States.
Cookies, analytics and ads
We use Google Analytics to see how people use our website, and Google Ads to measure which ads lead to enquiries. These use cookies and similar technology. Google may also show our ads to people who have visited our site before (remarketing). When you send a quote request, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email and phone number may be shared with Google so it can match the enquiry to an ad click; Google can't read the original details from it. Our site also remembers, for up to 90 days in your browser, which ad or page first brought you here, so we know which ads are worth paying for.
Your choices
You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com, block Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), or clear or block cookies in your browser. Our site still works if you do.
Seeing or correcting your details
Email office@planetengraving.net or call 02 4030 5878 and we'll tell you what we hold about you, fix anything that's wrong, or delete it if we no longer need it for your job or our records.
Questions or complaints
Contact us first and we'll do our best to sort it out. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
