316 marine grade stainless steel in a #4 brushed finish is our standard for outdoor and corrosive environments. The fibre laser marks the metal itself for a dark, permanent result with no paint to fade.
Black anodised aluminium gives crisp silver-white text on a black plate. It's lighter, sharp to read and a popular choice for certification plates.
Send your CAD drawing, PDF or an old plate and we'll lay it out exactly: tables, logos, serial numbers, QR codes and mounting holes. Standard holes are 4mm, with centres 6mm in from the edge, unless your drawing says otherwise. Every new layout comes with a proof before we engrave.
Repeat orders and serial numbers
We keep your artwork on file, so reorders are quick and consistent. For batches, send a spreadsheet of serial numbers and we'll engrave each plate with its own data.

Questions we often get
Are your compliance plates AS/NZS compliant?
Yes. We make plates to the content and layout your standard or engineer specifies. Tell us which standard applies and we'll make sure the required fields are on the plate.
How long do fibre laser engraved plates last?
Laser annealed marking on 316 stainless steel is the most durable option we offer, with no ink or paint that can wash out. It's the best choice for plates that live outdoors or on mobile plant.
Can you engrave serial numbers in sequence?
Yes. Give us a start number or a spreadsheet and each plate is engraved with its own serial, date or QR code.
How fast can I get them?
Most laser engraved compliance plates are made within 24 hours of proof approval, then express posted.
What file types can I send?
Vector files (PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, DXF, DWG) give the best result, but a sketch, a photo or a list of wording is fine. Our design team will draw it up for you.
