Industrial Laser Engraving for Businesses

Most people know us for memorial plaques, but a big part of our work happens on the industrial side. Mining, engineering, electrical and manufacturing businesses across Australia rely on us for markings that have to stay readable for the life of the equipment.
The control plate above was engraved for Allquip Water Trucks, and we've also produced plates for Komatsu's mining division. For brands like these, clarity, accuracy and durability aren't optional, and that's exactly what laser engraving delivers.
What we make for industrial customers
- Compliance and data plates: ROPS and FOPS plates, rating plates and manufacturer nameplates.
- Control panels and switch plates, cut to shape and engraved in one job.
- Switchboard labels and traffolyte labels to your label schedule.
- Valve tags, cable markers and asset tags with serial numbers, barcodes or QR codes.
- Safety signs and site signage built for harsh conditions.
- Isolation locks and lock tags.

Why laser engraving suits industry
- Durability: the marking is in the metal, not printed on it, so it survives heat, oil, chemicals, wash-down and years of Australian sun.
- Accuracy: logos, fine text, tables and diagrams come out exactly as drawn.
- Compliance: clear, permanent wording that meets the standard your equipment is built to.
- Consistency: plate 1 and plate 500 look the same, and we keep your artwork on file for reorders.
Materials we work with
Most industrial work is fibre laser engraved into 316 marine grade stainless steel or anodised aluminium, or engraved into UV stable traffolyte. Where a drawing calls for recessed, paint filled lettering, we can supply acid etched plates, which take around 3 to 4 weeks.
Big jobs, small jobs and everything in between
Our machines handle plates up to 1200 x 900mm, so we can do anything from a single replacement tag to a full fit-out of panels and labels. Send a CAD drawing, a PDF, a spreadsheet or even a photo of an old plate, and we'll lay it out and send a proof before we engrave. Most jobs are made within 24 hours of approval.
Trusted across Australia
We're based in Rutherford in the Hunter Valley, close to the coal fields and the engineering shops that support them. We express post to every state and territory and to New Zealand, so distance isn't a problem.
Questions we often get
Can you match an existing plate?
Yes. Send a photo of the old plate or your drawing and we'll reproduce it, including logos, tables, serial numbers and hole positions.
What files should I send?
Vector files (PDF, DXF, DWG, AI, EPS, SVG) give the best result, but a sketch, photo or list of wording is fine. We'll draw it up.
Do you do numbered batches?
Yes. Send a spreadsheet and we'll engrave each plate or tag with its own serial number, barcode or QR code.
